Thanks to everyone for their help in pressuring the Egyptian government. We have been forced to travel back to Syria, put the vehicles on a ship, and we will then be flying to Al Arish. We do not, however, have to hand over the aid to anyone but the people of Gaza and we do not have to coordinate with the Israelis. Please use the ‘Donate’ button on the right to help defer the extra costs, any money left over will be handed directly to the people of Gaza.

There’s still no guarantee that the Egyptian government will let us in to Gaza anytime soon so keep their Embassy email addresses at the ready!

We’ve spent the last few days in a Palestinian refugee camp in the Syrian city of Latakia where the hospitality from all the families has been unbelievable. It’s crazy that as Europeans we can go relatively freely to their homeland but they have absolutely no right to do so.

Hopefully next time we update we’ll be in Gaza!
